It was blowdrys and bubbles galore last weekend at Herman’s in Dundrum Town
Centre and Ballinteer.
Herman Koster, the man behind the iconic salons, celebrated 40 years in business with champagne and goodie bags from luxury brands Kerastase and Wella.
Hermans philosophy of providing a friendly, personal skilful service has proved a winning and lasting formula. With so much bad newsabout, clients were only
delighted to share in a good news story. (That and thecupcakes!)
Hermans daughter Karen Koster , presenter of TV3’s Xpose, dropped by to join in
the fun. A gallery of photoshoots and advertising from down through the years
is currently on display in the salons for clients to enjoy; Everything from Thin
Lizzy launching the Whiskey in the Jar single to competition winners through the years bedeck the salons walls.
Herman was an original tenant in the Dundrum Shopping Centre when it opened
Similarly he was one of the first tenants to take up residence in the new
Dundrum Town Centre when it opened it’s gleaming doors in 2005.
So it was only fitting that the Director of Dundrum Town Centre, Don Nugent
attended the birthday party to pass on his congratulations.
To celebrate this ruby anniversary, Hermans are continuing their special offers
all through Xmas.
